Mill Lake Park

Surrounding Mill Lake in Abbotsdford is Mill Lake Park. The park offers different activities for people of all ages. A 2.1-kilometre trail loops around the lake and makes for a great walk, run or cycle. The route is mostly flat and paved, making it both family-friendly and accessible.

There is a neat boardwalk over the water. From the area, on clear days, you can catch a glimpse of Mt. Baker in the distance. The lake also has a separate wharf, with both canoeing and fishing allowed. Dogs, when on leash, are welcome too.

Other amenities at Mill Lake Park include picnic areas, multiple playgrounds, baseball diamonds, a water spray park and an outdoor swimming pool. In spring there are cherry blossoms and flowers. In autumn there are beautiful fall colours. During both those times of the year, the park makes for an enjoyable outing.
